![]() ![]() Many of the drinks include 'Bitters", and I guess if you like bitters it might be ok, but I thought the punch would be better without it. The Rosemary drink with rum, pear juice and a few other ingredients was the standout. We ordered a 2 Rum Punch's, A rosemary drink, and an Orange infused drink. ![]() It's a rum bar and we asked the Waitress for her suggestions. When it was our turn, we settled in and ordered some drinks. When 4 tables were empty, they pushed tables together and seated a very large party. Turns out you can make a reservation if you have 10 or more in your party. A few tables were empty, and we were wondering why they weren't calling anyone. There was no place to sit, so we stood and talked with some of the patrons. They were packed, so we settled ourselves in around the bar. When we arrived we wrote our name down on the wait list. Before I get to the review, let me warn you about the wait times on a Saturday night. The reviews were good, and we chose a Saturday night around 7pm. When she asked the waitress, she checked with the cook and he said he had everything he needed and he'd make her some, that was awesome! Loved that they had Abita Purple Haze on tap, it's my husband and my favorite! My husband had the fish tacos and they were really good too! Only offered fried fish, would have been nice to see both fried and grilled as an option, but nevertheless, still tasty! Good service, they were packed so we had to wait a little for another round of drinks, but our waitress was super friendly! Would definitely come back and bring some more friends or family to try this place out! Monday night- all you can eat mussels $12, Tuesday- three course burger night for $20, Wednesday- Trivia, Sunday brunch, can't remember the rest!Ĥ of us went to Mutiny Pirate Bar and Grill because I had bought a Living Social coupon. Burger was huge and had great flavor! Came with hand-cut fries on the side, and they were really good! (same as the appetizer fries) A friend wanted something simple, chicken tenders, which weren't on the menu. Their most simple burger has BBQ sauce on it, so I just got it on the side. Was a little disappointed that they don't offer a simple burger. Had some good Old Bay flavor! Since they have a burger night here on Tuesdays I figured their burgers were probably worth trying. Tried the cream of crab soup and thought it was pretty good. Ordered the fries with crab dip as an app and they were outstanding! Local red cent ale green beer was on special for $3/12oz which was pretty tasty. Paddy's day came around and with no where specific in mind to go, we finally came here! Loved it! Loved the atmosphere, old school hole in the wall mixed with an on a ship feel. I live in Glen Burnie, but every time I'd mention wanting to check out the pirate bar, I'd get a "'s go somewhere else", well St. We plan to go back and that is a positive testimony in itself as the area is dotted with tons of places to eat and enjoy so going back is not a difficult decision to make. Bottom line-the restaurant is a bit out of the way and is certainly not a huge place though outdoor seating will add to the allure to some degree. ![]() It is certainly a twist on the original, but being near the bay and being in Blue Crab country, it is a natural selection. There were 4 in our party so we got a variety of dishes and then shared them and it is difficult to say which were the standouts. There is certainly a nice selection of 'bar' food, but there were also entrees that were all quite good. We decided on drinks that were totally new to us and were thrilled with the product. She offered us a sampling of each brew, as most are craft beers and new to us, and she explained the differences and didn't even charge for the samples or her knowledge. The bar keep was fun, quite outgoing and engaging and very, very knowledgeable about the beers on tap. There was a wait, so we bellied up to the bar and were glad we did. Having said that, when you walk in you realize it is NOT a huge place, but certainly more than adequate to enjoy to be able to enjoy a good drink, a very good meal and you can actually have a conversation with your dining companions and HEAR them. The water is nearby, but the restaurant is NOT on the water. The name of the place and location certainly set the tone, but it may be giving you a bit of a false impression that you are only going to Maritime or Pirate type of bar.
